About The Position

Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Float Radiologic Technologist to join their exceptional care team. In this role, you will float between Orange, Milford, Trumbull and Shelton, contributing to high-quality patient care across their practice. The position requires performing various radiographic procedures and playing a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury. The technologist will also connect with the patient, from pre-screening to explaining procedures and offering emotional support.

Requirements

• Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
• Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut.

• The ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care
• A positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor
• Ability to maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting
• Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements
• Must have reliable personal transportation for travel between locations.

Nice To Haves

• Having worked in an EMR/EHR considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures
• Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience
