About The Position

Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Float Radiologic Technologist to join their exceptional care team. In this role, you will float between Trumbull, Fairfield, Westport and Shelton, contributing to high-quality patient care across their practice. The primary location is in Hamden, CT, and this float position requires reliable personal transportation for travel between locations.

Requirements

• Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
• Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut.

Nice To Haves

• Having worked in an EMR/EHR considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient’s illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures
• Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience
