About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in CT imaging, demonstrate strong patient care skills, and be proficient in operating imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Active New York State license/registration as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient positioning
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners
- Prior experience in a high-volume or acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams while ensuring comfort and safety
- Explain procedures clearly to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Apply appropriate radiation safety standards and protection measures
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
- Accurately document procedures and patient data in Radiology Information Systems
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, and imaging protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
