Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Ongoing CT specified education including radiation protection and minimization of patient radiation exposure.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • One year experience working as a Radiologic Technologist and/or CT Tech

Responsibilities

  • Conduct radiographic and CT exams with precision, ensuring optimal patient positioning and the lowest possible radiation dose.
  • Provide radiologists with comprehensive patient histories and optimal images for accurate diagnoses.
  • Master contrast material procedures, including consent, IV starts (with nursing), and appropriate reaction protocols.
  • Contribute to department quality control and maintain state/federal accreditation standards.
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout their exam, from transport to completion.
  • Manage image processing, proper coding, scheduling, and maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Share on-call duties, weekends, and holidays, fostering a supportive and flexible team environment.
