Under the direction of the surgeon and/or fluoroscopy licensed medical provider, this role utilizes C-Arms and Mini C-Arms to image patients during surgery/procedures. The position involves maintaining imaging records and filing systems. Requirements

Graduate of an AMA approved program of Radiology Technology.
Must have active California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit.
Current CPR certification.
Must have two-year experience with C-Arms, mini C-Arms and surgical procedures.
Ability to work in multi-task, high stress environment.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the surgeon and/or fluoroscopy licensed medical provider, utilize C-Arms and Mini C-Arms to image patients during surgery/ procedures
Independently set up and enter patient information into the imaging system
Follow direction from surgeon/ fluoroscopy licensed medical provider to appropriately image patient.
Maintain records and equipment before, during, and after procedures.
Move imaging and protective equipment between operating rooms and storage locations independently.
Ensure all persons in range of radiologic exposure are adequately protected.
Respond to inquiries regarding imaging.
Responsible for orderliness and stocking of x-ray areas.
