About The Position
This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) working 8-hour varied shifts. The role requires flexibility to work a variety of start times, weekends (minimum of 2 shifts per pay period), holidays, and participation in the on-call rotation. Occasional overnight coverage may be required when the dedicated graveyard technologist is unavailable. This position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas is a 173-bed acute care facility in coastal north county San Diego and is home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program). Requirements
- CRT
- Fluoro Eligible (must obtain Fluoro within 6 months of hire date)
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- At least 1 year of Radiologic Tech experience (for new graduates to be eligible for new hire incentive)
Nice To Haves
- ARRT
- Strong OR and Fluoro experience
- DEXA experience
- Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Responsibilities
- Providing coverage in Inpatient X-Ray, the Emergency Department, Operating Room, Fluoroscopy, Outpatient X-Ray, and DEXA, with a primary focus on Operating Room support.
