About The Position

The Radiologic Technologist-Angio Specialist performs Interventional and Angiographic procedures utilizing specialized equipment for Radiographic Imaging and recording. Along with other members of the Radiographic team, maintains responsibility for patient care and physiologic monitoring. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Advanced knowledge of Angio and Interventional procedures.
  • Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality.
  • Able to use computer and software programs necessary to the position.
  • Able to troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone.
  • Able to think critically; work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to perform basic math functions.
  • Able to manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Able to work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload.
  • Able to recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Able to be assertive and consistent in following and/or enforcing policies.
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
  • Able to lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate.
  • Able to accept direction.
  • Able to distinguish colors and smells as necessary for patient care.
  • Able to hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone.
  • Able to identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the work place/patient care.
  • Able to see adequately to read computer screens, medical records, and written documents necessary to position.
  • Able to discern temperature variances through touch.
  • California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
  • California Fluoroscopy License required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of Angio experience preferred.
  • Spanish speaking preferred.
