About The Position

This role involves not only performing the duties of a Radiologic Evaluator but also taking on the responsibility of training new and existing Radiologic Evaluators. The position is crucial for ensuring the qualification and certification of these evaluators, providing essential feedback to leadership, and supporting the continuous improvement of the training program. The trainer will also be involved in auditing and evaluating employees against certification standards, contributing to performance reviews, and maintaining a fair and objective training environment.

Requirements

  • Must be self-motivated and capable of high performance with little or no supervision.
  • Must demonstrate good work habits and a history of quality workmanship.
  • Must be free of any disciplinary action for Quality, Productivity or Behavior over the last 12 months.
  • Position requires the ability to change department assignments, work with others in more than one department, and adjust shift schedules as needed by production.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions, make progress observations, and accurately record technical data.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clear and unambiguous instructions, ensuring directions are clearly understood.
  • Must have good facilitation skills and the ability to teach individuals and/or small groups.
  • Satisfactory attendance record required.
  • Satisfactory safety record required.
  • Must have held the Radiologic Evaluator position at PCC for a minimum of 36 months.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Radiologic Evaluator trainer certification desired or TAT’s certified within 30 days.

Responsibilities

  • Train and assist with the certification process for new or transfer Radiologic Evaluators.
  • Train employees on new skills and help them improve or maintain satisfactory performance levels.
  • Perform module audits as they become due.
  • Evaluate employees against certification requirements.
  • Provide objective, fact-based input for performance reviews and participate in performance feedback sessions for Radiologic Evaluators.
  • Ensure training and certification duties are performed without favoritism.
  • Offer suggestions for creating and revising training modules.
  • Design and update skills demonstration criteria for qualification and certification.
  • Provide support and perform necessary audits for Radiologic Evaluators.
  • Perform ongoing evaluation of employees and conduct random audits.
  • Stay current on X-Ray shoot and read practices.
  • Support the maintenance of a harassment/discrimination-free environment.
