About The Position

We are looking for qualified Radiologic (CT) Technologists / Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join our Texas Health family. These positions are PRN (as needed) and offer several shifts, including days, nights, and weekends only. Graduates are welcome to apply to staff roles. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring imaging quality and processing. Communication, computer, and venipuncture experience are helpful.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-year of correlated experience preferred.
  • 1 Year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT-CT Req or no experience w/ARRT-CT required
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R Upon Hire Req
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT designation Upon Hire Req Or ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT (if 1 year radiology technician exp) 12 Months Req
  • CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine required OR Associate’s degree preferred
  • 2 Years in Nuclear Medicine preferred
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Upon Hire Req Or CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire Req
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Graduate of an AMA approved / Accredited Ultrasound Program preferred
  • Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years hospital experience
  • 2 Years clinical experience in a hospital radiology preferred
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Sonography and one additional modality upon hire required
  • ARDMS – American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers must have 2 certifications upon hire required
  • RVT or VT(RVS) as one modality if performing vascular sonography upon hire required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.
