About The Position

Performs nuclear medicine and radiographic procedures with proper patient positioning, technique selection, and equipment operation. Ensures patient safety and quality care, including identification, education, monitoring, and adherence to radiation safety (ALARA). Manages imaging workflow and systems (RIS/PACS), ensuring accurate documentation, image transfer, and proper coding. Maintains quality assurance and compliance with ACR, regulatory standards, and internal protocols. Collaborates with radiologists and team members while staying current through ongoing education and supporting training efforts.

Requirements

  • Graduated from accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), CPR, BLS, MRT, CEU credits maintained.
  • Proficient in venipuncture proficiency.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac EKG set-up, QA procedures regarding maintenance of hot lab and imaging devices and the function and use of ADAC/Phillips equipment.
