About The Position

South College Indianapolis is seeking a Radiology Program Director to join the Radiology Department. This position is on ground in Carmel, IN. The program director oversees the structure and daily operation of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review, and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula. They will also maintain student data and analyze for retention rates, credential pass rate, and employer/student surveys. This role is responsible for overseeing program accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and collaborating with the clinical coordinator to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of clinical affiliations. The program director will also maintain the program budget and fiscal resources for program administration, participate in department activities such as committee meetings, curriculum discussions, student solutions management, and other service activities, and provide didactic instruction in the program each quarter.

Requirements

  • Hold a minimum of a master's degree
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in radiography
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program
  • Have experience in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising
  • Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification

  • Experience with JRCERT accreditation strongly preferred
