About The Position

VIC Radio is seeking a student Program Director for the Spring '27 semester. The role works alongside the Talent Coordinator and Music Director to determine the weekly schedule, including automating pre-recorded programs when needed. The Program Director attends weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff and General Staff meetings. Applicants should include a cover letter explaining their fit for the stations' needs and what they can bring to the Voice of Ithaca College. The position pays $16.00 per hour. Employment is contingent on completing I-9 and employment eligibility requirements and a criminal background check.

Requirements

• Be organized and detail-oriented.
• Be a strong communicator in person and via email.
• Be competent in operating the Zetta radio automation system.
• Have been a member of VIC Radio for at least one semester.
• Be a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Talent Coordinator and Music Director to determine the schedule for the week.
• Automate pre-recorded programs when needed.
• Attend weekly VIC Radio Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings.
