Gray Media’s 10-week paid training program at WBKO gives college students hands-on experience in local media. Participants take on real assignments in areas such as producing, multimedia journalism, meteorology, media sales, sports, weather, news production, marketing, creative services, or engineering. Work may be published or aired and includes creating content for television, social media, streaming apps, and web stories. Interns collaborate with experienced media professionals, build a portfolio, and contribute to local storytelling or business growth. The program requires 25 hours per week and is intended to help participants prepare for potential full-time opportunities within Gray Media’s network.
