We are seeking a talented and driven Module Development Engineer to join our Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) team within Intel's Advanced Packaging Technology Manufacturing (APTM) division, based in Arizona. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced semiconductor test and manufacturing solutions, directly contributing to Intel's next-generation technology roadmap. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related STEM field with 4+ years of industry experience OR Master's degree in the same fields with 3+ years of industry experience OR Ph.D. in the same fields
Working knowledge of RF lab equipment including mixed-signal, spectrum analyzers, signal analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, and TDRs
2+ years of experience in ATE testing, test methodology, electronics design, or product development
2+ years of IC Test experience
Hands-on experience in manufacturing process improvement, problem-solving, and excursion management
Technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in: Digital, analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed testing, including tester hardware design
3+ years of experience in: Material handling systems including high-speed/accuracy pick-and-place, motion control, and vision systems
3+ years of experience in: Automated Test Equipment collateral
Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW
Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing process and equipment challenges

Responsibilities

Develop and lead test technology and process solutions for new product designs and manufacturing scalability
Optimize manufacturing techniques, including material selection, equipment metrology, and parameter refinement
Design and implement sophisticated manufacturing processes and repair methodologies, including reverse engineering solutions
Collaborate with customers to develop and optimize production testing strategies
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure process compatibility across upstream and downstream manufacturing operations
Engage with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technologies that support Intel's roadmap
Drive process and equipment improvements to enhance performance, yield, efficiency, and manufacturability
Test and characterize analog circuits for power and thermals, including thermal profiling and recipe tuning for production thermal control
Provide calibration for power delivery, enabling power and performance binning
Perform ATE and bench device characterization
