About The Position

In this role, you can expect to install key components of electrical and electronics systems onto the aircraft. You’ll also have the opportunity to train alongside seasoned technicians, enhancing your skills and career growth.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
  • Ability to work around louder environments from adjacent work areas.

Responsibilities

  • Install wire bundles, radios, instruments, speakers, switches, lights, and other avionics components onto the aircraft.
  • Conduct functional tests on partial systems using standard test equipment like continuity lights and volt-ohmmeters.
  • Use a variety of hand tools to install, adjust, and replace components according to standard shop practices.
  • Ensure the quality and safety of all work performed, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for the quality of own work.
