About The Position

Join the Radiation Oncology team at a respected 60-bed acute care medical center. Deliver prescribed radiation treatments while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. Work alongside physicians, oncology professionals, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Utilize advanced treatment technologies in a patient-focused oncology environment. Practice in Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley wine country, located between Portland and the Pacific Coast.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent REQUIRED
• Radiation Therapy Certification REQUIRED and must be in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a Radiation Oncology team

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Aria, Eclipse Treatment Planning, and Phillips CT software preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient response and maintain treatment accuracy
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain treatment documentation and patient records
• Follow radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures
• Utilize healthcare informatics and oncology treatment systems effectively
