About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Radiation Therapist in Missoula, Montana. This role involves providing prescribed radiation treatments within an established Radiation Oncology department at a 151-bed regional medical center. The therapist will work alongside physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, and oncology professionals in a collaborative environment, utilizing advanced oncology technology while delivering compassionate patient-centered care. The position offers an opportunity to live in a desirable community near Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent REQUIRED
• Radiation Therapy Certification REQUIRED and must be in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) REQUIRED
• Strong understanding of radiation safety principles REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a Radiation Oncology team REQUIRED

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Aria, Eclipse Treatment Planning, and Phillips CT software preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation treatments as prescribed by Radiation Oncology physicians
• Ensure compliance with established radiation therapy standards and protocols
• Monitor treatment accuracy and patient safety throughout care delivery
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain treatment documentation and imaging records
• Utilize healthcare informatics systems and oncology treatment software
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures
• Apply radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements consistently
