About The Position
The Radiation Therapist performs simulations and delivers therapeutic ionizing radiation to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. The role assists the physician and fellow employees in providing optimum patient care and treatment. In partnership with the Lead Therapist, the Radiation Therapist teaches, supervises, and evaluates radiation therapy students. This position is at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, and is per diem on the day shift. Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
- Oregon Radiation Therapist License upon hire.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
