About The Position

A Radiation Therapist operates radiation therapy equipment and delivers radiation to patients as prescribed by physicians. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary team members in a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging environment to provide excellent patient care. The position is at Methodist Richardson Medical Center, a 443-bed, full-service acute care hospital serving Richardson, Garland, Plano, and surrounding communities in Dallas and Collin counties. The hospital is a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and provides a range of services, including behavioral health and addiction recovery, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term acute care.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited university or hospital Radiation Therapy program.
AART and CMRT required.
CPR "C" certification required.
Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligible, taking boards on the first available date following hire.
Working knowledge of treatment machines, simulators, mold room equipment, and simple treatment calculations.
