Utilizes his/her technical abilities to simulate and/or deliver a course of radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. Requirements
- A graduate of a radiation therapy technology program, accredited by the Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology
- Washington Radiologic Technologist (Upon hire)
- National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy (Upon hire)
- Hired as a new graduate - up to 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 3 years of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist
- Hired with 2 years - up to 5 years experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 2 years of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist
- Hired with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist AND 1 year of employment at the Cancer Institute, as a Radiation Therapist
Responsibilities
- Simulate and/or deliver a course of radiation therapy as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.
- Maintain current with senior therapist criteria.
