About The Position
This position offers a $10,000.00 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment for eligible candidates. The Radiation Therapist delivers therapeutic radiation and patient care services as prescribed by a physician.
Requirements
- ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(T) in good standing or board eligible (must complete certification within 1 year of hire)
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Responsibilities
- Performs patient simulations.
- Delivers prescribed radiation treatment.
- Assesses, supports, and educates patients according to specific department guidelines.
- Maintains medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry and quality assurance in accordance with regulatory and departmental guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required including, but not limited to, mentoring employees/students and participating in department and organizational initiatives.
