About The Position
The Radiation Therapist performs tumor localizations and administers ionizing radiation to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as prescribed by the supervising physician. This PRN, day-shift position is with Piedmont Henry Hospital’s Radiation Oncology department.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ARRT-accredited radiation therapy program.
- No prior work experience required.
- Register in radiation therapy with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
- CPR certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform tumor localizations.
- Administer ionizing radiation to patients across age groups as prescribed by the supervising physician.
