About The Position

The Radiation Therapist delivers safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments according to each patient’s prescribed plan of care. The role guides patients through treatment by explaining procedures, answering questions, and helping them feel informed and supported. The Radiation Therapist prepares treatment rooms and equipment, assists patients into treatment areas, and positions them precisely and comfortably. The position verifies daily treatment parameters, administers prescribed radiation doses, maintains treatment records, documents patient positioning through imaging, and monitors patients for unusual responses or changes during treatment. The role also performs tumor localization, maintains treatment-room supplies, and coordinates patient schedules across treatment machines. This is a full-time, day-schedule position at Monument View Medical Plaza. It is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The anticipated compensation range is $41.00–$47.15 per hour, commensurate with qualifications, education, experience, and other applicable factors. Additional discretionary incentive or other compensation may be available but is not guaranteed.
