About The Position

The Radiation Therapist PRN position is responsible for providing radiation therapy support based on designated treatment plans under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist. This role involves covering shifts at both the University Parkway location and the new Milman-Kover Cancer Pavilion on the Sarasota Memorial Hospital campus. PRN positions have set pay rates based on years of Radiation Therapy work experience: Less than 5 years experience = $41/hr, 5-10 years experience = $44/hr, More than 10 years = $47/hr.

Requirements

• Current/active State of Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure
• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
• ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification (must have at time of hire - accepted from American Red Cross & American Heart Association)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Varian equipment (True Beam and Aria)
• A minimum of one (1) year as a clinical Radiation Therapist
