Provide a planned course of radiation therapy treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician, always ensuring patient safety and care. As a Radiation Therapist at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, you will work with Radiation Oncologists to deliver radiation therapy to patients in our world-class environment. Using age competency skills, you will communicate essential information to patients and family members which enables the patient to complete their course of therapy. This is a full time day shift 9:00AM - 5:00PM position located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses. Salary Range: $56.89-$76.63/Hourly It all begins with you. Requirements

Graduate of American Management Association (AMA) approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
New York State Radiologic Technologist license
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in all areas of radiation therapy including brachytherapy, immobilization fabrication
Experience with clinical set-ups and contours

Responsibilities

Provide a planned course of radiation therapy treatment to patients as prescribed by a physician, always ensuring patient safety and care.
Work with Radiation Oncologists to deliver radiation therapy to patients in our world-class environment.
Using age competency skills, communicate essential information to patients and family members which enables the patient to complete their course of therapy.
