About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the manager by ensuring adequate flow of patient care through the Radiation Oncology department. The Senior Radiation Therapist identifies and solves patient problems, contributes to self-development and leadership by teaching and supervising co-workers and students. This role requires the ability to interact with other departments within the Cancer Center. The Senior Radiation Therapist collaborates with others and seeks direction from supervisor or others as needed, assuming complete responsibility and accountability with little supervision required. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification, or California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy.
• 2 years Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years experience in a fast paced Radiation Oncology department.
