About The Position

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team. The position will involve administering radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed plans, while ensuring patient safety and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role requires flexibility to float between units or campuses within the healthcare network as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy
• Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist (or eligibility)
• BLS (AHA) required
• Must be willing to float between units and campuses, as needed, based on census and staffing requirements

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in radiation therapy preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in line with prescribed plans
• Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Document treatment delivery and patient responses accurately
• Maintain patient safety and follow safety protocols during therapy
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Perform patient assessments and assist in treatment planning
• Float to other units or campuses within the network when required (competencies must be demonstrated and documented)
