About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday, delivering radiation therapy treatments in accordance with the prescribed plan of care. The role requires flexibility to float between different units or campuses within Prisma Health based on staffing needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy
• Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist (or eligibility)
• BLS (AHA) required
• Must be flexible to float between units and campuses as needed in accordance with Prisma Health's floating policy

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in radiation therapy is preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy to patients according to the prescribed treatment plan
• Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure accurate documentation of treatment delivery and patient response
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Maintain patient safety protocols throughout therapy sessions
• Conduct patient assessments and screenings as part of treatment planning
• Float to other Prisma Health units or campuses per staffing needs (only for tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated)
