Requirements

• Associate’s degree from two-year college (accredited program) or Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy
• Radiation Therapist ARRT certification or eligible for certification within six months of employment and
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card
• Must relocate to Grand Junction, CO 81505 before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiation therapy treatments.
• Explains treatment procedures to patients.
• Prepares the treatment room and equipment; transfers patients to treatment areas; and position patients for treatments.
• Checks daily treatment parameters; deliver the prescribed dosage and maintains treatment records.
• Photographs patients in the treatment position and observes patients for unusual changes of dosage.
• Performs tumor localization.
• Maintains supplies for the treatment room.
• Schedules patients for treatment on treatment machines.
• Other duties as assigned.
