About The Position

The Radiation Therapist will simulate treatment set-ups, perform dosimetric calculations, and accurately deliver ionizing radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. This role works under the general supervision of the System Manager, Radiation Oncology and assists in patient care and management. The therapist will adhere to clinical, technical, and operational policies and procedures.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program, required.
Must be a candidate for ARRT (R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology Therapy) certification. Must successfully complete certification exam and be registered within one year of start date into position.
Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association, required.
IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure, required.

Previous experience with ARIA EMR
