About The Position

Administer targeted radiation therapy by expertly exposing specific areas of the patient's body to prescribed doses of radiation. Manage advanced technology by operating, maintaining, and adjusting essential equipment, including the linear accelerator, to guarantee optimal function and safety. Ensure documentation integrity by maintaining detailed records of all therapy sessions. Uphold strict quality standards through the prompt submission of high-quality images and documents. Guarantee regulatory compliance by ensuring all professional activities meet or exceed regulatory agency standards.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiation Therapy credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Two years of clinical radiation therapy experience.
