About The Position
Upon direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions—because precision matters. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, helping ensure every patient receives care guided by integrity, excellence, and accountability.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- Minimum of three years' relevant experience actively practicing as an RTT.
- ARRT certification.
- Applicable state license for radiation therapy.
Responsibilities
- Administers radiation therapy treatments to patients under direct supervision.
- Ensures accuracy in positioning the radiation beam to correspond with the designated tumor volume.
- Accurately delivers the prescribed radiation dose.
