About The Position

Join a community-based cancer program serving a growing patient population. Opportunity to practice in a single-physician Radiation Oncology practice, providing a high degree of autonomy and impact, while enjoying the support of a multi-physician group. Practice will be located within our newly renovated Cancer Center. Significant investment in technology, including the purchase of a new Linear Accelerator (LINAC). Collaborative multidisciplinary oncology team with two Medical Oncologists on-site. Opportunity to help shape and grow Radiation Oncology services within an expanding cancer program. Participate in system call rotation. Opportunities for career and academic growth within WellSpan as well as through our oncology collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine. Access to proton therapy, including a visiting faculty appointment through a partnership with the Maryland Proton Treatment Center.

Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Experience obtained during residency.
Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon or Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency.
Appropriate training in radiation therapy and radiation safety.
Appropriate specialized training.
