About The Position
Seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens position in Cape Girardeau, MO. This is an outpatient role covering clinical duties only. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with a Monday-Friday day shift schedule. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Licensed in MO
- BLS certification
- ATLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology consultations and follow-up care.
- Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans including IMRT, SBRT, and SRS.
- Perform simulation, treatment planning, and quality assurance of radiation therapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including surgeons, medical oncologists, and physicists.
- Manage patient side effects and provide supportive care.
