About The Position
Seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens position in Greenville, SC. This is an outpatient role covering supplemental needs from October 1, 2026, through February. The position is clinical only, with a shift schedule of Monday-Wednesday, 7 am-4 pm. The patient volume is 10-15 adults per day. Support staff includes RN, MA, Physics, Dosimetrist, and Therapists. The office is equipped with Varian and Linear accelerators, and uses Aria and Epic EMR. The role requires participation in tumor board. Temporary privileges are available, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Active SC License
- Board Certified (BC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days
Responsibilities
- Provide radiation oncology services in an outpatient setting.
- Manage adult patient caseload of 10-15 patients per day.
- Participate in tumor board meetings.
- Utilize Varian and Linear accelerators for treatment.
- Work with RN, MA, Physics, Dosimetrist, and Therapists.
- Document patient care using Aria and Epic EMR.
