About The Position

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a Locum Tenens position in Lexington, KY. This is a clinical-only role in an outpatient setting, covering adult oncology patients. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with approximately 20 patients per day. The role involves overseeing daily radiation treatments, performing consultations and follow-ups, completing treatment planning and status checks, participating in tumor conferences, and documenting patient care in Epic. The facility has a Radiation Oncology Clinic, with support from Medical Physicists and Dosimetrists, as well as 1 RN and 4 Radiation Therapists. Emergency credentialing is available, with a timeline of approximately 1 week.

Requirements

• Active Kentucky License or IMLC LOQ
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• DEA: Required for Assignment
• BLS Certification
• Residency/Fellowship Required
• Clean Background and Malpractice History Highly Preferred
