The Department of Radiation Oncology at Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join their team. This position will include an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. The primary site of practice will be Tufts Medical Center in Boston, with additional practice at community Cancer Center sites in Stoneham and/or Framingham as directed by the Chair. The main clinical responsibilities involve staffing the radiation oncology department as an integrated part of a multidisciplinary cancer center, which includes infusion services, multiple multidisciplinary specialty clinics, and extensive support services. Tufts Medical Center is noted for its robust gamma knife program and an expanding high-dose rate brachytherapy program. It is an internationally respected academic medical center and tertiary referral destination with a sophisticated multi-disciplinary cancer center, committed to providing sophisticated, cutting-edge care in a compassionate, patient-centered manner. The Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine and a member of Tufts Medicine.
