About The Position

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a motivated Radiation Oncologist to join an employed position in a busy, well-respected practice with a strong referral base and the resources of a robust health system network. The physician will join an established team of three physicians and three advanced practice providers, with access to support staff. The practice setting is a mix. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system. The position is located at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida, a 566-bed hospital and medical center and Level I Trauma Center serving approximately 545,000 people. The facility is part of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health system, and has an integrated referral network. The location is designated as a Health Professional Shortage Area and/or Medically Underserved Area/Population. Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
Florida Board of Medicine physician licensure and credentialing before the hire or job transfer date.
Board eligibility or certification in the medical specialty.
Eligibility for state medical licensure and DEA registration.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Life Support certification; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications are accepted.
