You will lead the successful execution of Radar signal processing, modes, and software function throughout Radar development programs, including weather signal processing, waveform design and implementation, embedded radar software, software architecture, and future multi-mode radar capability development. Working with the PI, and other system leads, this role establishes the technical approach and software capabilities for radar prototypes. Candidates should have demonstrated hands-on technical leadership of end-to-end radar signal processing, modes, and software development from concept through integrated prototype demonstration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Experience in Radar or RF systems. (i.e. radar modes, radar signal, radar system)
  • Experience as a Systems Engineer including two or more of the following: requirements, design; specification development, modeling, simulation, or performance analysis; HW/ SW integration and test and verification
  • US Person requirements: Due to contractual requirements and compliance with US export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a US Person, a US citizen, or a US permanent resident.

  • Effectively communicate your ideas and results to research sponsors, scientific peers, and business leadership, through effective presentations, publications, and the writing of proposals.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft and avionics integration.
