Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below will also be considered and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience in radar algorithm development and/or radar analysis.
Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following: Digital signal processing, Tracker algorithms, MATLAB, Radar Simulation and Modeling.
Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with radar simulation along with a strong background in statistics and probability.
Additional skills in the following is desired: Electromagnetics, Modern C++ development, Familiarity with Linux.

Responsibilities

Support advanced technology radar programs including development of radar signal processors, radar tracking algorithms, advanced sensors in EW environments.
Simulation of radar systems.
Field-testing of RF sensors and systems.
Deployment of advanced sensor systems.
Work closely with other skilled engineers as they deep-dive into existing algorithms to find areas for improvement in both performance and processing latency.
Investigate newer algorithms available in literature to determine if they can provide improvements to the various radar programs.
Experience or willingness to lead a team of engineers in solving difficult radar algorithm problems, peer reviewing new algorithms developed internally or obtained from industry, overseeing tasking, and other team lead activities.
