Mid-Level Radar Engineer/Analyst
About The Position
OASYS, INC. is seeking a Mid-Level Radar Engineer/Analyst to support our ARMY customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. You will join a well-established team that supports the development, test, and fielding of missile defense radar systems. Common tasks for this position include analysis tool design and development, and complex analysis on radar system and/or algorithm performance. Provide expertise on various aspects of critical radar functions including acquisition, scheduling, tracking, discrimination, advanced functions, and system-level interactions. Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop creative solutions to complex technical problems. Support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling & simulation (M&S), post-flight reconstruction, and integration and risk reduction efforts. Interact with external customers and stakeholders, program offices, and radar development prime contractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or a highly related technical field. Years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 3+ years of experience with sensor and/or system-level data analysis.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, signal and data processing, electromagnetics, and/or system engineering using MATLAB, Python, and/or similar tools.
- Ability to develop and/or contribute to reports and briefings that explain complex radar behaviors effectively to a broad range of audiences.
- Experience developing and/or improving complex analysis tools.
- Experience in radar analysis, radar systems engineering, and/or radar test and evaluation.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple efforts.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AN/TPY-2 TM
- Experience with radar signal detection/injection HWIL systems
- Experience in C, C++, and Ada programming
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
