About The Position

The Rad Tech position is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, a 173-bed acute care facility in coastal north county San Diego. The role provides X-ray coverage in inpatient and outpatient settings, the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and Fluoroscopy. This is a full-time position working 80 hours per pay period in varied 8-hour shifts. Scheduling flexibility is required, including availability to work weekends and holidays and participation in the on-call rotation. A new-hire incentive of up to $8,000 and relocation assistance are available to eligible candidates. Hiring incentives are not available to internal candidates, rehires who left Scripps less than three years ago, or new graduates; candidates must have at least one year of Radiologic Tech experience to qualify for the incentive. Transfers to other locations are reviewed case by case and may result in forfeiture of the remaining incentive unless otherwise specified in the offer letter.

Requirements

CRT.
Fluoro eligible; must obtain Fluoro within six months of hire date.
BLS from the American Heart Association.
Completion of a formal training or educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

ARRT.
OR, ED, and Fluoro experience is highly preferred.
Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
