About The Position

Operates X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Performs intravenous radiographic studies and works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
• Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Insert intravenous lines in preparation for radiologic studies.
• Perform imaging for venograms, arthrograms, and other studies requiring intravenous or subdural injection of contrast medium.
• Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated body areas.
