About The Position

Administers x-rays of various body anatomy to produce clinically diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries in newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Operates x-ray equipment and prepares the room for radiological procedures. The position is based at Iredell Urgent Care in Troutman and Mooresville. The shift is Thursday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with two 12-hour shifts as needed.

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
• If registry eligible, be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and obtain registration within one year of hire.
• Maintain current registry and update it before its expiration date.
• Hold BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians.
• Have excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Possess the full range of body motion required to pass the basic FIT test, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
