About The Position

Administers x-rays to various areas of the body to produce clinically diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries in newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Operates x-ray equipment and prepares the room for radiological procedures. The position is located at Iredell Urgent Care in Troutman and works Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
• If registry eligible, must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and become registered within one year of hire.
• Registry must be current and updated before its expiration date.
• BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff, and physicians.
• Excellent computer, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Must possess the full range of body motion needed to pass the basic FIT test, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
