About The Position

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is hiring a PRN Radiologic Technologist. The role performs radiological procedures on patients of all age groups, provides age-specific care, follows established imaging protocols and radiation safety practices, and communicates with and educates patients in accordance with prescribed standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
No prior work experience required.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

Perform radiological procedures competently and proficiently on patients of all age groups.
Position patients, select the correct protocol, and use all required equipment.
Maintain competencies for all related components.
Follow established imaging protocols for each exam performed.
Provide quality age-specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
Adhere to Radiation Safety Policies and principles of dose reduction.
Provide patient education and communication in accordance with prescribed standards.
