About The Position

This position is for a Radiology Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging at Mission Hospital DX 728, located at 509 Biltmore Ave. Asheville, NC 28801 on the 2nd floor of the F tower. The unit has 800 beds and a varying number of staff per shift, with a normal FTE of 34 in a 24-hour period. The evening shift typically has 10 staff Technologists, 2 Student Techs, and a supervisor. The equipment includes GE for all Rad rooms, portable GE and Shiatzu, OEC C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms. The EMR system used is Cerner Rad Net.

Requirements

• Skills in all areas of DX radiology including portable and OR
• Skills in ED trauma imaging
• ARRT (R)

• Fluoroscopic procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform all areas of DX radiology including portable and OR.
• Perform ED trauma imaging.
• Perform all Diagnostic imaging, Portable, Trauma, and fluoroscopic, and Surgical procedures.
• Rotate weekends.
