About The Position
Forrest City Medical Center is a 118-bed acute care facility serving Eastern Arkansas. The Radiologic Technologist arranges patients for radiological examinations and produces radiographs (x-rays) and CT exams to help diagnose medical problems. The role is responsible for preventing unnecessary radiation exposure and follows instructions and established guidelines while working under immediate supervision. The position requires a degree of creativity and latitude and typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. The schedule is 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new hires who commit to 18 months.
Requirements
- Associate's degree.
- ARRT registration.
- Arkansas State License.
Responsibilities
- Arrange patients for radiological examinations.
