About The Position

Responsible for performing quality radiographs, CT scans, and/or mammography as needed. Must be able to work independently, yet be a collaborative team member. Position requires standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback. Responsible for other duties assigned, which may include, but not be limited to protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and a resource for insurance related issues.

Requirements

  • AS degree in radiologic technology.
  • Current certificate of registry by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT).
  • Current BLS CPR Certification.
  • California License in Radiology Technology (CRT).
  • CT experience.
  • Passing the CT and/or Mammography registry within one year (newly graduated technologists will be trained and required to pass).
  • Two years of experience if doing both CT and Mammography.
  • Good working knowledge of radiography.

Responsibilities

  • Performing quality radiographs, CT scans, and/or mammography as needed.
  • Working independently and as a collaborative team member.
  • Standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback.
  • Protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and acting as a resource for insurance related issues.
  • Arriving to the hospital not longer than 30 minutes after initial callback communication.
