About The Position
Responsible for performing quality radiographs, CT scans, and/or mammography as needed. Must be able to work independently, yet be a collaborative team member. Position requires standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback. Responsible for other duties assigned, which may include, but not be limited to protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and a resource for insurance related issues.
Requirements
- AS degree in radiologic technology
- Current certificate of registry by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT)
- Current BLS CPR Certification
- California License in Radiology Technology (CRT)
- CT experience
- Passing the CT and/or Mammography registry will be required within one year. Two years if doing both.
- Good working knowledge of radiography
Nice To Haves
- Newly graduated technologists will be trained in CT and/or Mammography.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for standby and after hours/weekend/holiday callback, with arrival to the hospital not longer than 30 minutes after initial callback communication.
- Responsible for other duties assigned, which may include, but not be limited to protocolling, scheduling, answering phones, and a resource for insurance related issues.
